Jake began his career as an investment professional in 2015 with the University of Oregon Foundation, working on the investment team to help manage the university’s endowment fund. In 2017 and 2018 he was named one of Trusted Insight’s “Top 30 University Endowment Rising Stars.” Prior to his career change, Jake was a commercial banker in Eugene for more than 8 years. He currently serves as Treasurer on the board of the Eugene Public Library Foundation and on the investment committee for the Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation.

Jake graduated from Idaho State University in 2006 with a degree in Finance and was selected as the Finance Department Student of the Year for his graduating class. He has earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA®) designations, and he is a member of the CFA Society of Portland and CAIA Seattle chapter.

Jake enjoys reading and spending time with his young family and his friends playing golf, soccer, music, and card games.
